Some of you might be confused about the 10 Steps, or you parent's may not know, so I will explain it here. The part of the class that is required is to read and discuss King Lear with us, but there are 9 more steps you can do to increase your knowledge of Shakespeare and to earn the reward at the end of the year!
Here they are:
1. Read and Discuss King Lear
2. See, read, or listen to seven or more Shakespeare plays.
3. Hand in the completed Vocabulary Lists.
4. Participate in the Shakespeare Faire.
5. Participate in the Spring Performance.
6. Turn in a 'Personal Vocabulary' word list and the completed Common Old English Terms list.
7. Pass off Iambic Pentameter (done!)
8. Make a 10-15 minute presentation of an Elizabethan Era topic (let me know if you need topic ideas)
9. Recite from memory the assigned Setpiece.
10. Complete 6 of the writing assignments.
